Biography:


Mr. Gene Koch holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Lutheran Teacher Diploma, and a Master’s Degree, all from Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois.  His majors include Math, Science, and Physical Education.  His has 33 years of teaching experience, having served 13 years at St. Philip Lutheran School in Chicago, IL and the last 20 years at LSUS, teaching grades 6-8. 

Mr. Koch is a member of Peace Lutheran Church where he serves as Sunday School teacher, usher, and choir member.  His wife, Krista, is a math teacher at Concordia Lutheran High School.  He and his wife have four children, Aaron, Adam, Sarah, and Hannah.  They also have one goldfish. 

Interests:

In his spare time, Mr. Koch likes to go fishing and enjoys other outside activities.  He loves spending time with his family.  He enjoys teaching because he loves children and helping them learn and grow in Christ.
