Mr. Doepner attended Southwest Texas State University,  Concordia University, Austin, TX, and Concordia University, River Forest, IL, receiving his Education Degree in 1976.  In 1995, he earned a Master's Degree in Education from Indiana University.  Mr. Doepner is a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church where he serves as an usher.  His wife, Sue, is the Preschool/Day Care Director at Mt. Calvary.  Together they have three grown children, all of whom went through Lutheran schools.

Interests:

Mr. Doepner looks forward to the annual 8th grade class trip to Washington D.C., which he has organized for the last 19 years.   He enjoys officiating high school basketball games, playing golf and softball, and rooting for his favorite college team, the University of Texas.
