Mrs. Judith Sabel holds a B.S. in Education degree and Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska and a Master’s degree in Reading from Purdue University.  Her experience includes 25 years of teaching in the primary grades, mostly in Lutheran schools, and 3 years in the Iowa public schools as a special education/first grade teacher. 

Mrs. Sabel is a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  Her husband, Tom, is pastor at St. Paul, Otis, IN and teaches writing, philosophy, and logic at IPFW and Ivy Tech.  Together they have two sons, Jon-Mark and Jacob, both of whom are in the Lutheran school system.

Interests:

Mrs. Sabel enjoys writing and directing dramas.  In her spare time she likes to travel extensively with her family.  She enjoys animals including classroom pets and a dog and cat at home.
