Mrs. Yvonne Schwantz holds a B.A. in Secondary Education and a Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois. She is certified in English/Literature, Social Sciences and Math. She is currently finishing her Special Education certification at IPFW. Her 16 years of experience includes full-time teaching in grades 5-12, substitute teaching in grades K through 12, and one year of principalship at a Lutheran school in Lafayette, Indiana.
Mrs. Schwantz is a member at Concordia Lutheran Church. Her husband, Richard, is 4th grade teacher at Concordia Lutheran Elementary School. Together they have four children: Rachel, Abby, Sarah, and Joey, all of whom are in the Lutheran school system.
Mrs. Schwantz spends her time outside of school going to her kids’ sporting events and concerts. She likes reading, crafting and scrapbooking when she has time.
