Kitchen Manager Job Description

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to do budgeting, menu planning, meal preparation, and organization as well as reporting.

To be successful as the Kitchen Manager at LSUS, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. This Manager must be comfortable with people, computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, this person should have a genuine desire to serve others and help the needs of those who are part of our school.

Kitchen Manager Requirements:

Associate’s Degree in related field

Prior experience

Computer skills, especially typing, Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets


Record Keeping



Attention to detail

Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
